Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA)
- July 2011- In Atlantic County, U.S. Small Business Administration-backed lending outperformed the state, more than doubling to $20.4 million spread across 27 loans, up from 24 loans in the prior year.
- Key first step in developing an Arts District in Atlantic City, the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey’s non-profit corporation will operate the historic Dante Hall of the Performing Arts.
Serves as Atlantic County's multi-purpose financing, development and project management agency whose primary purpose is to plan, finance and construct public improvements such as schools, municipal buildings, transportation facilities, housing developments, infrastructure redevelopment, roadway construction and beautification, and convention facilities.

Community Development Corporation

Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (LIGHT)
LIGHT is located at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and provides a forum for public policy discussions regarding the gaming, hospitality and tourism industries in New Jersey. The Institute also supports the decision making process of policy makers and leaders through research, conferences, and report writing focused on the region’s three largest industries.

The center serves as a “one-stop” shop for business. Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Offers assistance starting a business, growing a business or just doing business. The Atlantic SBDC is located at the Carnegie Library Center. The SBDC is part of a networked national partnership between state and federal government, the private sector, and higher education. The program is provides business assistance services to establish new enterprises and promising start-ups, with the objective of increased economic activity.

South Jersey Economic Development District (SJEDD)
Promotes orderly and efficient economic development throughout its member counties, which include Atlantic, Cape, Cumberland and Salem counties. It also works to support the public general welfare and planning, as well as complement and coordinate state and county plans. The SJEDD supports county initiatives that improve and strengthen regional economic growth and development.
